TOP CHEFS GATHER TO “CELEBRATE THE CRAFT” AT THE LODGE AT TORREY PINES

 September 20th - September 23rd

San Diego area chefs, farmers, ranchers and vintners will present an example of outstanding culinary art and innovative food preparation while they spotlight California's bounty.  Picnic-style festivities and formal dinner highlight the gathering. "Celebrate the Craft" is a delight for anyone eager for food prepared with natural ingredients and authentic care.
The weekend celebration will feature some of California's finest food artisans who will demonstrate, discuss, showcase and taste their way through the vast array of premium food products available throughout the state.

Sunday is the highlight-- a full day of cooking demonstrations and a culminating celebratory dinner prepared by participating chefs.

This year, an exciting art component has been added:  "The Torrey Pines Plein Air Invitational" where many of the finest "open air" painters in the country will set up their canvases onsite to capture the extraordinary landscape of the Torrey Pines State Reserve, adjacent to the Lodge. The public will have an opportunity to observe the artists as they create depictions of this picturesque setting.   Painting competition: September 20-21st. Prizes awarded on Saturday evening.
